Nothin' Like a Day Game

Yesterday, I took the day off and I went up to a day game with a couple of friends. Yankees @ Sox at U.S. Cellular Don't Call It Wrigley Comiskey Field. From our nosebleed seats up in section 550, we watched the Yankees lose another game to Chicago. I think NY and the Sox had some agreement in which the Yanks were setting up each inning to give the Sox some practice at double plays. (I mean, Jeezuz! 9.5 games behind Boston?! At least the Mets beat the Cubs while the Yankees phoned that one in.) It turned into a beautiful sunny day. I had been worried about the weather - in the 50s with a decent wind & seats on the upper deck. If we had been in the shade and/or the wind, it might've been unpleasant. But we were in the Sun and blocked from the breeze, so it was a nice ol' time.

(And no comments about drinking Lite beer, please. I took what was handed to me and I said thank you and I smiled while I drank it.)
